Atwater’s HopApeel is a frontal assault on the American IPA style that features not only the classic American Cascade and Chinook hops, but two of the new “Super Cascade” varieties in both the kettle and in the dry hop. Dried and ground orange peel is added to the whirlpool to deliver a citric bittering that sets HopApeel apart from the masses. (Description provided by company)

Orange you glad you like beer?
Pours a slightly dingy rusty brown, with a thin light tan head. Head didn't stick around very long.
Aroma is a nice mix of citrus and pine aromas along with a subtle caramel malt. Although there are citrus aromas, it's difficult to pick out anything specifically orange in the nose.
Taste is broadly similar, with strong hop citrus and pine flavors and moderate bitterness, although the orange citrus flavors are a little more pronounced. I might not know that this beer has orange added if it wasn't on the label, though. A lingering slightly bitter aftertaste.
A light body with moderate carbonation.
Although a nice hoppy beer, if it didn't say it, probably wouldn't know that the Atwater Hop A-Peel had orange added. There's definitely some strong hoppy citrus flavors, but nothing screams "orange added" to me. That being said, it's a nice hoppy beer.
