Dark, translucent, reddish amber. Smooth, slightly creamy head. Nice lacing.

Nose is nutty and hoppy, with light earthy hops and caramel malt notes.

Taste leads with strong nutty and caramel malt flavors, with earthy hops towards the finish. Bitterness is present, but nicely balanced with the opening malt flavors. Aftertaste leaves some nutty and hoppy flavors.

Moderately full body, and low carbonation.

A very nice English Bitter - lots of subtle flavors while still being very drinkable and a relatively low ABV.
