The New Albanian's Black and Bluegrass pours a transparent orange-amber with a fairly thin and light head which faded quickly. Smells primarily of malt, lemongrass along with subtle peppery and a sweetness from the agave nectar. Taste is similar, with the malt and lemongrass upfront, balanced by the agave nectar and a subtle hint of pepper at the end.
Light-bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. No lingering bitterness, although the pepper flavor does stick around a little bit - it isn't overly distracting.
