Comments
IPA + Stout =
Dark brown to black, with two fingers of a light tan head.
Some dark malts, coffee, dark chocolate. Pine and citrus hops.
Balanced but strong flavors. Fairly hoppy with a very clean and quick aftertaste. The bitterness is moderate, but the darker malt flavors are well balanced with the brighter hops.
Medium full body and carbonation.
The New Holland Black Hatter hits a nice balance if you can't decide between a stout and an IPA, but the balance between the two is really what helps this beer stand out.
