Meh
Ample head forms on pour and quickly disappears with no lacing, Yeast aroma dominates. Taste and mouthfeel seem likes someone boiled down a Corona for a little while to thicken the brew.
Blue Moon Farmhouse
Pours a clear ruby red, with a nice head. Head dissipates within 5 seconds, unfortunately. Looks a little flat after lacing dissipates.
Nose is fruity and malty. Caramel and pale malts as well as some floral and fruity aromas.
Taste is mild, a slightly sweet malt, along with a light spicy hop flavors. Slightly tart fruitiness as well. Very quick and clean aftertaste.
Light and crisp body and carbonation.
Blue Moon's Farmhouse Red is a reasonably nice and very easy to find variation from Blue Moon's normal offerings. Not as much depth or complexity as a lot of other Belgian beers, but it's also a lot easier to find.
