Brussel's Muscle is Seductive Beefcake
Cool Springs Brewery's strong dark ale poured out of the bomber a dark caramel where a light looked dark red through it. No head but steady carbonation that makes the glass look like old soda. Lots of dark fruits, some smoke, and slight booze when I sniff the glass. Taste is Belgian yeast with some earthy hops, chocolate, and dark fruits behind that. Body is a bit light but not unpleasant with very mild tingle from carbonation. I am warming up to this ale the more I drink it. Part of that is probably the fairly-well hidden alcohol that kinda snuck up on me. Worth a try if you like Belgian style beers and find yourself in Tennessee. Brussel's Muscle would probably be exquisite if aged a couple of years. May be a bottle I grab when I finally get a beer cellar set up.
