Comments
If it says Trappist, then it has to be good
The dubbel came out a really dark brown that seemed to suck all light that came anywhere close to the glass. It produced a triple-finger thick head a that slowly melted away. Corsendonk's Later Dubbel Ale smells of dark fruits and chocolate...nearly like a mellowed rum raisin. The taste is a fairly even blend of fruit, chocolate, and Belgian sugar with a subtle hop bitterness that hemps to mute the sweetness. Very smooth on the tongue. This is a very good Dubbel that should be considered if you got a hankering for a good Belgian beer.
