Clear amber, with a thin and persistent head.

The nose is strong on the hop aroma. Like, grapefruit out the wazoo. A lot like an IPA.

The hops continue into the flavor. The malt flavors are crisp, bit overpowered by the hops. This is not a bad thing, but if you are expecting a more subdued and balanced beer this is not it. A long and hoppy finish.

A medium body and carbonation.

The line between pale ale and IPA has always been fuzzy, and this beer does nothing to clear up that divide. If you don't particularly care for strong hop flavors or aromas, this beer would probably be closer to an overall "2".
