Description:
Deep dark red colour, with a light pink, compact and lacing head. Soft fruity aroma, with hints of almond and mildly sour cherries. Sweet and fruity, with a nice balance between sweet and sour. An excellent dessert beer. (Description provided by company)

Too candy-like for me
Delirium Red went into the glass a dark red with a thin, rosey bubbly head that dissolved into a ring. Smells like a cherry Lifesaver and the taste is slightly more mellow. The mouthfeel is thin - like a cider - with enough carbonation to tickle the tongue and add interest.
I really enjoyed Delirium Nocturnum and Tremens, so was hopeful about this brew. Alas, this was too sweet for me. This is for the folks that enjoy wine coolers and exotically fruity ciders.
