It's alright
Dieselpunk Porter poured out of the bottle dark brown in the glass with fizzy two-finger head that quickly disappeared. Very light aroma of coffee. Coffee highlights the flavor with earthy hops to balance. VERY fizzy on the tongue; gives bitter flavor more of a bite on the tongue. Just an okay porter.
All bark and no bite
Diesel Punk's porter pours a slightly hazy reddish brown with a creamy head that dissipates within a minute after pouring. There's good stuff going on with the nose: coffee, chocolate nuttiness, and a slight alcohol fragrance. It's all there in the flavor too, only... less of it. There's a nutty finish here that's pleasant but not enough to redeem the otherwise watery brew. Not much is more disappointing than a great-smelling but forgettable-tasting beer.
