Comments
Elector? I don't even know her.
Pours an attractive reddish amber, with about a finger of an off-white and foamy head.
Nose is a nice balance of some caramel and pale malts along with a nice citrus and earthy hops.
Stronger hop flavors than often found in Red Ales, but the moderate bitterness is nicely balanced by the caramel and pale malts. The higher hop flavors do a nice job of masking the slightly high ABV. A moderate aftertaste, and not too bitter or overpowering.
Medium body, moderate carbonation.
A bit stronger than the average Amber Ale, but still nicely balanced, easy to drinking, and not quite as intimidating as the "Imperial" label makes it seem.
