Description:
Serious hop bitterness, along with an unyielding grapefruit bouquet from the Amarillo dry hop, balances the malty richness of four varieties of imported Belgian caramel malts. Pours a spectacular crimson with a creamy tan head. A generous addition of rye malt accentuates a spicy, crisp finish. (Description provided by company)

Comments
Bitter, but not offensive
Founder's Red's Rye PA pours a cloudy amber with a fairly thin white head. Smells mostly of hops, with a hint of roasted malt and floral notes.
Not overly bitter, but primary taste is of hops, with a subtle floral taste toward the finish. Medium body, and not overly carbonated, with a small lingering taste of the hops.
