A beer for dessert?
The Nut Brown Ale pours a very deep brown - although the beer is clear when held up to the light. The head is a medium tan and dissipates quickly although lacing sticks around for awhile.
Smells mostly of malt with chocolate and nutty aromas as well as a subtle hop aroma. Taste is a balance of malt with the chocolate and nutty flavors - very little bitterness from the hops, and a subtle sweet flavor. A medium body coats the palate and a moderate carbonation make this beer an easy-drinking beer.
