Description:
HOSS is based on the Märzen lagers of Germany. Rich, layered malt notes, with hints of cherry and dark fruits, dominate, while the unique addition of rye imparts a slightly earthy, spicy character. Hoss finishes crisp and dry, and its brilliant red-orange color is a toast to the sunsets that make the perfect backdrop for this beer. (Description provided by company)

This hoss is a boss
Great Divide Hoss pours a clear ruby color, very little head to begin with. What's there dissipates quickly. The smell is malty, with some cherry fruit thrown in for good measure. The flavor is bright and crisp, with the fruit coming out nicely. The rye is pretty subtle in the flavor, balancing everything out nicely with some earthiness. Absolutely no bitterness to this immensely drinkable beer.
