Guinness Blonde is the first fusion beer in the new Guinness Discovery Series combining the best European brewing techniques with the finest American hops in a collaboration between the Guinness Master Brewers in Dublin and their US Master Brewers counterparts at the famous Latrobe Brewery in Pennsylvania.
The result is crisp, light, but flavorful beer characteristic of the 1930's American Pale Lager style with just a little more "hoppy" and citrus characteristics and a unique biscuit malt taste that begs to be experienced. (Description provided by company)

(Some) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Clear golden yellow in color, with a half finger white head.
Bready and yeasty malt aroma, with a light floral and grassy hop aroma.
Taste is easy drinking and pretty much a standard lager - low bitterness, and hop flavors, with a nice malt backbone and a dry and quick finish.
Light body and carbonation
A decent and widely-available version of an American Lager, Guinness' Blonde Lager is better than some offerings from American (or former American) brewers, although it's not particularly spectacular - just solid..
This Guinness is not so good (for you)
Guinness’ Blonde American Ale pours a clear copper and smells exactly like bread. Strong yeast notes in the nose dominate any semblance of hops. They’re there in the flavor, thankfully, balancing well with the malt. Not much of a finish to speak of, really. And that’s basically this beer- not much to speak of, but it isn’t offensive.
