Excellent barreled Belgian
Hof ten Dormaal's Barrel Project #9 (Grappa) was handed to me at OTBX a ruby/caramel color with a beige head. Nice lacing.
Dark fruits jump out in the smell, but there is a bright sweetness here, too, which I can't quite place (grapes?).
The taste is a bit more varied with dark fruits, spice, vanilla, and red wine tannins layered upon my tongue.
Very satisfied and impressed.
