New Holland’s Ichabod is yet another pumpkin ale. It has a dark amber color to it and smells of pumpkin and brown sugar. One of the sweeter smelling pumpkin beers I’ve tried, actually. The flavor is full-bodied, the brown sugar balanced well with the other fall spices present here. There's plenty of pumpkin flavor without it being overpowering. It tastes great, and continues to taste great throughout the glass. The same cannot be said of every pumpkin beer.
