Finally, a hefty stout
Innis and Gunn's Irish whisky aged Scottish stout pours a deep molasses color with very little head retention. It has a sweet and pleasant raisin aroma. The flavor is well rounded. I taste the barrels the stout was aged in, and it has a nice hefty mouthfeel. This beer is delicious, but the sweetness is just a little much over the long haul.
