Dark brown. Half finger tan head. Lots of lacing.
Roasted malt aromas. Dark chocolate, toffee, caramel. Earthy hops as well.
Lots of dark chocolate, caramel malt and toffee sweetness. A touch of dark roasted coffee bitterness toward the finish. The milk stout style should be a touch sweeter than your average stout, and this one rides that line nicely, while maintaining a balanced flavor.
Very full body, and fairly low carbonation. A beer you almost have to chew.
What a good milk stout should be. A little bit of sweetness makes this stout a nice almost-dessert-like full-bodied beer.
