Damn, it is good!
Admittedly, this was a brewery that was later purchased by AB/InBev; but of all of the purchased breweries, this InBev product tastes as good as the hype.
I poured Mackeson XXX Stout out of the bottle to see a very dark brew that formed a three-finger head which shrank to a cap, leaving gorgeous lacing in the glass. Chocolate dominates the nose with coffee and toffee secondary to that. Flavor is also strongly chocolate but the coffee is closer to the front compared to the smell. Very smooth with a rich body.
Excellent milk stout...near the top of my list. I'd put it in the same quality as Young's Double Chocolate Stout.
