Description:
Brewed with barley from our farm in central Michigan, Midwestern Pale Ale stands apart from the model of completely hop-dominated pale ales, offering a noticeable degree of malt body to counter the hop bitterness. A blend of floral & herbal hop notes provide the aromatic & flavor highlights, alongside the distinctive contribution of our house ale yeast. A crisp bitterness finishes the experience without being harsh. (Description provided by company)

The Farmer's Daughter of Pale Ales?
Pours an orange amber, slightly cloudy with lots of bubbles. One finger of head, nice slow dissipation. Nice lacing.
Aroma is dominated by malt and citrus/floral hop aroma. Slightly sweet, hops are more in the background than right up front.
Taste is mostly citrus hops and a little caramel malt. Slightl floral highlights as well. Balanced flavor, not a lot of aftertaste
Medium light body and fairly low carbonation. A little bit flat in the mouth.
A nice tasting APA - the hops and the malt are nicely balanced. A little more carbonation would make it a little more refreshing for a summer beer, but very drinkable.
