Did you like Before During and after Christmas, maybe you thought it poured brilliantly, the alcohol was admirable well hidden and you loved how the arrogant amounts of hops numbed your mouth. Pours an orange amber, slightly hazy. Half finger of bubbly head.

Nose is very hoppy, with traces of grapefruit pine, and subtle alcohol aroma.

Taste is surprisingly more refined and toned down than aroma. The hops are still strong, with a nice malt undertone, and traces of alcohol. Moderate long aftertaste, but does not taste like a 13% ABV.

Moderate full body, and medium low carbonation.

No doubt about it, this is an assertive and strong Imperial IPA, but with a little more balance and decently well-hidden alcohol for such a high ABV.

Evil Twin's Molotov Cocktail is an imperial IPA (emphasis on "imperial": it's ABV is 13%). It pours a yellow-gold with minimal head retention and a smell that's incredibly bright and hoppy. Taste is the same, with the alcohol meshing nicely with the hops, decreasing the bitter aftertaste to almost nothing, and boosting the overall heft and body of the drink. Also, I think I may have gotten a piece of grain in my beer. It's possible this was from my dinner, but I'm almost positive it wasn't. This is how you get a beer to be 13% ABV, I suppose. It's good. Careful with this one. You should sip it.
