Technically speaking, Nerd Alert is an ale. And if you want to get reeealllly technical, we fermented this beer with ale yeast at low temperatures to achieve an incredibly clean flavor. However, if you bring up this knowledge in normal circles, you will, in fact, be labeled a nerd. So just enjoy the straw-blond appearance (like the hair of the girl the nerd could never get) and the crisp, safe essence (like the nerd’s comic book room). (Description provided by company)

Labeled a pilsner, but tastes like a blonde to me
Monday Night Nerd Alert Pseudo Pilsner is a clear gold in the pint glass with a pinky-thick white head. That is leaving more lacing than I expected after the head evaporated.
Smells really sweet, but more caramel than the corn syrup sweetness I expect from a pilsner. Accompanied with some bready smell.
Taste is fairly evenly split between the sweetness, the biscuit flavors, and a bit of grass from the hops. A nice balance I enjoy in a blonde ale.
