If you want an organic stout, this fits the bill.
The reason someone should buy this is because of the organic production. Otherwise, there isn't really anything about Old Plowshare Stout that begs your attention.
It poured out of the bottle like a slightly flat RC Cola - reddish caramel color with a tiny fizzy head. Strong smell of chocolate with raisin. Taste is mostly coffee and nuts with chocolate lingering there, too. The brew is a bit on the thin side of medium bodied with oily characteristics. Not a bad stout, but don't know why you would pick this than another stout.
