Among the Top Ciders I've Tried
Corn color with a ring of bubbles.
Chamomile, honey, and baked apple when I smell. Quite smooth and floral, not candy-like at all.
I taste warm honey and apple pie with a hint of spice. Not enough caramelized sugar or spice to come across as a winter cider and not quite light enough to be a summer heat cider.
Feels light with enough carbonation to tickle the tongue and keep interest.
Hands-down, Oopsy-Daisy is the best honey-infused ciders I've had.
Plenty of honey, light on the chamomile
Oopsy Daisy pours out of the bottle the color of the liquified center of a daisy (or chamomile flower... but more people have seen daisies). Smells lightly of apple and honey, but the taste is a lot stronger. With both of those notes and the additional floral taste of chamomile, it is absolutely delicious. Plenty of bubbles to tickle your tongue.
I would have loved for Woodchuck to go a bit heavier with the chamomile. I think it would have made for a more interesting complex brew.
