Cisco Brewers’ Pumple Drumkin pours a deep reddish amber with a small but thick head. Faint smells of fall spices (your usual fare: cinnamon, nutmeg, etc) sit back tastefully, but there’s no mistaking them.
While I didn’t smell the pumpkin, the flavor is definitely there in the taste, along with the spices and just a little bit of hop bitterness at the end. The mouthfeel is pretty light, with a long but not unpleasant aftertaste. Overall a tasty pumpkin beer with a subtle balance of spices and pumpkin. Don't let the goofball name deter you.
