Expecting the worst...
Pours a very bubbly gold with a thin bubbly head.
Nose is very strong on the raspberry and other berry aromas. Very sweet. Some malt aromas as well; mostly pale and biscuits.
Taste is...interesting. Kind of mixture of a Budweiser with just a little bit of raspberry flavor added. The raspberry mostly comes out toward the finish, and the aftertaste is basically non existent.
Light body and high carbonation.
Not as fruity or sweet as I was worried that it would be. It definitely lives up (or down) to the bottle's description of "Raspberry flavored malt beverage", but it's not really much more.
