Description:
The citrus punch of a big IPA, minus the one-dimensional hop sledgehammer. Seven select European and domestic malts round out the edges for a complex, copper-colored brew. Like its namesake ski lift, it’s an insider’s ride to fresh thrills. (Description provided by company)

Comments
Taste the Northwest
Pours a deep slightly hazy amber. Two nice fingers of head. Good retention. Lacing is nice.
Nose is a balance of malt and hops. The hops are mostly piney with a little floral and citrus.
Taste is more hop focused than the nose, but not quite as interesting. Mostly pine flavors - a little one-dimensional. The malt is nicely crisp, although it is a little bit too assertive against the hops.
Medium light body and some decent carbonation.
Although there are some good aromas in the nose, the taste does seem to be a little bit less complex. Still, some good piney flavors that aren't too strong or overbearing.
