A Good Example of the Style
The Kolsch pours a clear light gold with a fairly thin head and very light lacing.
Nose is malty and slightly floral, with hints of yeast and a very light roasted aroma.
Taste follows the nose, with the crisp and light malt upfront and a very light floral and grassy hop finish. A quick aftertaste with very little bitterness finishes it off.
Moderately light body and carbonation.
A very nicely refreshing and decent tasting Kolsch - you can find many worse examples of this styel.
