Description:

Tart & refreshing, this unique summer quencher is our twist on the Bavarian Radler, named for cyclists that originated this drink. Traditionally a mixture of beer and lemonade, for our take we combined the crispness of a golden Helles lager with a blend of lemons to create a fresh squeezed tangy taste perfect for the long yet fleeting days of summer. Pours a clear, deep, golden yellow with essentially no head. The fee bubbles that collect on the surface are all gone in less than 5 seconds.

A nose with some nice citrus and refreshing aromas along with a subtle bready maltiness. Fairly nice.

The taste, while good, isn't spectacular bit this would be a great cold beverage for a hot summer's day. The citrus flavors come out a bit, but the overall bitterness is quite low - less than many store bought lemonades, and the aftertaste is clean and quick.

A light body and very prickly carbonation.

This beer is pretty much perfectly named. It's not full of nuance or depth. But it tastes good and would certainly hit the spot on a warm summer day!
