Meets Expectations
Clear, bubbly gold with a thin, white head.
A mild nose for an IPA, with the bready malts just as strong in the nose as the hop aromas, which have notes of grapefruit and pine.
Flavor leans heavier on hop flavors and bitterness, though, much like a typical IPA. The bitterness is moderately low and the hop flavors do linger for a little while.
A fairly light body with moderately high carbonation.
Although the aroma is a little bit deceiving, Sam's Rebel Rider has a nice IPA flavors with a little bit easier drinkability thanks to the low ABV. Not anything stellar, but if you like IPA flavors and want quantity rather than quality, you can find this beer almost anywhere.
