Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat pours a hazy yellow gold color with a creamy white head which dissipates pretty quickly after poured. The nose is quite cherry-heavy, with a bit of the wheat flavors intermixed. The flavor is better balanced than the smell, but you still get a lot of the cherry in the taste. The finish is clean and light, with very little bitterness. The mouthfeel is a bit thin- this beer doesn’t stay with you very long, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s refreshing, and the cherry fruit flavors are kind of nice.
