Our Hefeweizen is a light, unfiltered wheat beer, often served with a wedge of lemon. Made with thirty percent American winter wheat, Hefeweizen is balanced with sweet golden malted barley and Tettnang hops from Oregon that evoke a hint of spice. The American ale yeast is subtle, but the grains take center stage and, when left in the unfiltered beer, gives it that classic cloudiness and additional body. (Description provided by company)

Simple American Hefe
Pours a hazy pale gold, with a fairly thin head. Lots of bubbles along the side of the glass.
Nose is fairly light, with some wheat and malt aromas, with a little citrus and fruit as well.
Taste is very malt focused, with the wheat softening the malt crispness, and some fruity and citrus flavors but very low bitterness. Fairly dry aftertaste.
Very crisply carbonated and a fairly light body.
