A Tasmanian Devil Among Beers!
This T IPA pours a hazy golden color, with one finger of foamy head that has good retention and nice lacing.
The nose is hoppy - the citrus, with grass and pineapple really stand out. Citrus hops predominate the taste, and the pineapple from the hops is quite noticeable. The pineapple sweetness helps balance against the bitterness from the hops, though, and the result is very nicely balanced. Medium body and carbonation is a bit low, but that helps actually taste the hops.
You might have heard of "fruity" beers and scoffed, but this beer is both fruity and very balanced. Lots of different citrus flavors going on, and the hop bitterness adds to the flavor in a way that makes you want to take another sip.
