Description:
Secret Stache Stout is a robust stout. The specialty ingredients, vanilla bean and lactose, lend to its complexity and full flavor. While no actual chocolate was used to brew this beer, heaps of chocolate malt give the beer its color as well as its chocolate and coffee notes. (Description provided by company)

Comments
Vanilla punctuates the flavor, not dominates
Came out of the can the color of used motor oil and created a two-finger brown head. Strong smell of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. The taste is dominated by coffee with chocolate, but the vanilla accents the flavor in a way that there's a bite to the bitterness. It's not amping the bitterness as much as accentuating it. There were also moments when I got a cherry or dark fruit flavor in a minor wave and didn't seem to always be there. Mouthfeel was medium but slick. At times, Secret Stache Stout would feel a bit syrupy. Overall, I was very pleased with the beer. The vanilla adds a nice kick without pushing itself in your face.
