Sprecher Abbey Triple had no head at all atop the pumpkin-orange beer. It smells like rich apple cider and yeast and tastes of candied fruits, bread, banana, and some spice on the finish. What started out as good, didn't take long to go bad, though. As I went through the glass, the flavors became muddled and more cloyingly sweet, until I had to stop and pour the rest down the drain.
