Gather Round the Tafel
Pours a transparent amber with a light thin head.
Lots of sweet, caramel, and biscuity malt. There is a bit of an herbal hop flavor, but it's a bit subtle for me. The flavor is similar, with llots of sweet malt flavors along with a strong (but still not light) herbal flavor. The bitterness is fairly low, and a very quick and easy finish.
The New Albanian Tafel is very drinkable, and it makes a great table beer for a variety of foods (it was great with my chili!).
