Tap Room No. 21 Pale Ale is brewed in the true American style with a complex hop aroma, flavor and bitterness. This Craft American Pale Ale is made with three types of hops: Cascade, Tomahawk and Amarillo; a combination that creates a complex citrus hop aroma, deep flavor and a long crisp finish. The subdued malt character found in this beer is just enough to give balance to the hop complexity and produces the Pale Ale's orange-amber hue. (Description provided by company)

APA 101
This APA pours a transparent, light amber with a one finger head. The head has average retention, but some very nice lacing.
A balanced nose, with a subtle malt along with piney and citrus hops. The taste follows, with the piney hops coming through more at the end. A very nice balance between bready malt and citrusy hops. A moderately long aftertaste, although it finished fairly clean. A moderately light body and moderate carbonation.
A decent and easy to drink APA - a nice intro into the world of hoppier beers. Not a standout, but a good fallback.
