Sturdy Stout from Thomas Creek
Thomas Creek Coffee Oatmeal Stout poured into the pint glass a dark caramel, barely allowing the light from a lightbulb to penetrate, with a thin tan head which melted to a ring. Coffee, cream, chocolate are what stick out upon smelling the stout. The taste is clearly focused on the coffee which is ably supported by oatmeal and a thick body that feels full and rich on the tongue. A great choice for a stout at the grocery store.
