Thunderfoot - Russian for Good Beer!
Pours a pitch black with a thin tan head. A little bit of lacing and alcohol legs as well.
Strong dark malt aromas, chocolate, roasted malt, some dark fruits, and coffee. Some subtle earthy hop aromas, but this is a malt-dominated show.
Similar flavor profile with dark and layered malt flavors and a bright hoppy and fruity finish. Malt bitterness is moderately high, and a fairly long finish. Some moderate alcohol
Medium full body and low carbonation - fairly smooth in the mouth.
The New Albanian Thunderfoot is a tour de force of dark malt flavors - from chocolate, coffee, to dark fruit, they are all here. The alcohol is noticeable, but not too overpowering of the other flavors. If you like the Stout style, this beer turns it up a few notches.
