Description:
Natural raspberry flavors are added to our UFO Hefeweizen to create this beer. Consistent with the Hefeweizen style, this beer is unfiltered and cloudy with a solid foamy head. UFO Raspberry has a distinctive, hazy rose color. The scent of fresh raspberries hits the nose immediately, along with a subtle bready aroma from the wheat and yeast. The body is light and the unfiltered yeast provides a soft mouthfeel. The taste of the fruit compliments the beer nicely, neither overwhelms the other. There is a faint sweetness on the palate, which finishes cleanly in a semi-dry, tart finish. (Description provided by company)

Raspberry Beer For a Real Man
UFO Raspberry Hefe poured from the bottle a slight rose-tinted orange with a small bubbly head that quickly disappeared. I could smell the raspberry just standing at the counter pouring the beer. Thankfully, the aroma calmed down once the head had faded away. As I was drinking, the raspberry was still the primary smell but it was joined by a earthy scent. Taste was raspberry a little in front of banana and bread. Very easy to drink. One of the better fruity beers I've had. Doubt I would look for it, but wouldn't reject it if offered.
