Pours a deep reddish amber, half finger of head with nice lacing and retention.
Citrus, grapefruit, and a pine herbal nose. A slightly sweet malt backbone.
Taste is nicely balanced, with the hop flavors are nicely highlighted and bitterness is moderately low. Medium long aftertaste, with some lingering bitterness.
Medium body, and moderately low carbonation.
A nice take on a very overdone style. Hops are present, but balanced with malt. Flavorful and tasty, but easily sessionable.
