I was expecting a fruity, dessert beer. Maybe feared that it might be overly syrupy. I've had a couple of blueberry beers before (SweetWater's being the least annoying of those) and expected this to be along those same lines. Nope!

Forget any assertion that this is beer. This is looks, smells, tastes, and feels like a flavored malt liquor or an alcoholic, flat fruit soda.

Wild Blue came out a raspberry red with a tiny white bubble head that promptly disappeared. Smell is a variety of berries and sugar. Taste is more raspberry than blueberry with a sweaty, funky finish. I get no hops, yeast, or other flavors that tend to remind me when I drink fruit beers that they are actually beers. This is all fruit, all the time. Feels like a nearly flat soda on the tongue.

*shudders*

Never, ever again.

I fear that there are females between 15 and 30 that will see this everywhere (thanks Anheuser-Busch!) and will make this their alcoholic beverage of choice. We must put this product out of business - think of the children!!!
