Jolly Rancher + IPA =
Perfectly clear and copper colored with a full and foamy head.
A very interesting nose - a mix of watermelon candy, some citrusy hops, a crisp and slightly bready malt. The strong fruity aromas make it tough to believe this is a 10%ABV beer. The watermelon candy is strong on the taste - and the alcohol is more noticeable as well. Q little bit of an alcohol kick on the finish, but it's still not overly aggressive. The hop flavors are also a bit overshadowed. You the watermelon.
Although it's interesting, I'm not sure what to make of this - the alcohol burn and the sugary watermelon flavors don't balance quite as well for me as I want them too.
