Samuel Adams Boston Lager
Samuel Adams Boston Lager helped lead the American beer revolution, reviving a passion for full-bodied brews that are robust and rich with character.
Originating in Vienna, examples of this lager now mostly come from the United States and Mexico.
Reddish-amber to copper in color, the Vienna lager is generally brewed with both Vienna and Munich malts, giving it a softer and slightly toasted malt profile. The hops used vary depending on the brewer, but are often Noble and herbal or floral. Hop bitterness is only enough to balance out malt sweetness, with smooth and dry finish.
Best served cool, 46-54 degrees, and in a pilsner glass, pint glass, or beer mug.
