Make Hop Sun part of your summer survival kit, and no amount of heat or humidity will get you down. This summer thirst-quencher is not your average wheat ale. Light and slightly dry, it is the addition of fresh hop flowers after fermentation that adds a necessary kick on a hot summer day. Hop Sun is mild enough to be a refreshing summer offering, but has just enough of a hop profile to keep your taste buds tingling for another sip. Wheat, barley, and hops coalesce in this superb session ale, a telltale symbol of fun in the sun. Summer never tasted so good. (Description provided by company)

I poured Souther Tier's Hop
I poured Souther Tier's Hop Sun into a weizen glass to see the clear gold beer topped by a finger of head that never quite went away and left gorgeous lacing on each drink. Beautiful. Smells of citrus hops with some wheat behind that. Now, I'm not into hoppy beers, so keep that in mind when I say that the flavor was a battle between wheat and grapefruit hops. There were times where I mostly tasted wheat until the hops came along for the finish and aftertaste. There were also times where I pretty much tasted the hops the whole gulp with a wheat note jumping into notice occasionally. Felt great drinking it. When I was thirsty, I easily glugged several gulps without pause. A nice, bright summery wheat beer for folks that really need hops.
