DIPA with a pine punch
Mach 2 was handed to me in a 10 oz glass. It is a dirty orange color with a pinky-thick white head.
I get a lot of pine and grass from the hops. Not as resin-smelling as I was expecting.
The taste is more pine focused, though. Liquid pine cone with a sprinkle of sugar sweetness is what comes to mind when I take a drink.
Tons of flavor in this glass! I've had some DIPAs that seem like the pine sap characteristics are mellowed in opposition to the increased ABV. Rocket Republic's Mach 2 DIPA doesn't temper the pine in the smell and taste compared to the other DIPAs I've sampled.
