Nicely done bitterness
Pours a golden amber, with a bubbly white half finger of head. Retention is nice and long.
Nose is strong in citrus hop and pale, crisp malt aromas. A little fruity and a whiff of bitterness, but a nice IPA aroma.
The pale malt and the bright hop flavors make a nice (if expected) combination, and although the bitterness is a little bit higher than what I expected, it's mostly in the finish (which is fairly long). This makes the beer easy drinking but gives it a nice hop kick at the finish.
A medium light body and carbonation.
IPAs are pretty much a dime a dozen these days, so there's a lot of options if you're a fan of the style. This particular example offers some nice hop flavors with a bitterness that seems both strong and refreshing - an interesting combination.
