We’ve heard them before – the classic beer lover’s excuses on cider. Too sweet, too fruity, not enough kick? Well, don’t jump to any conclusions on this one. Here’s our new American cider twist on an old German beer style – the gose. This slightly sour cider combines the fresh tartness of red rhubarb juice with a dash of sea salt that smooths out the acidity. It’s the perfect thirst quencher for the summer months and the perfect solution to any beer lover’s excuses. (Description provided by company)

Not bad, just dull
Sonoma Cider's rhubarb gose, The Wimble, poured out an apple juice-like gold but with a splash of pink through it.
This cider's smell is really faint. I get a vague strawberry-like smell along with apple.
When I drink some, there is a mild saltiness that seems to explain the gose description. Taste, like the smell, is very subdued.
Not impressed, barely satisfied.
