Drink a Dunkel!
Yellowhammer's Dunkel is a dark caramel in the pint glass. There was a small head, but it retreated to a ring pretty quickly, but still leaves chunks of lacing on the glass when I drink.
Slightly caramelized malts hit my nose first.
The taste is also very much focused on the sweet side of malt. This is darker than an Oktoberfest or a brown ale but is shy of tasting roasted like a black lager or porter.
Very smooth as mentioned on Yellowhammer's list of beers on tap.
